Dylan's Country Cottages

For a rural retreat in Kaikoura try Dylans rustic cottage accommodation.
Our Holiday cottages are surrounded by lavender and flower gardens and we even have an on-site gift shop that crafts lavender oil and other quality lavender products.

Dylans Country Cottages consists of two unique lodge / chalet style cottages "Mahoe" and "Kowhai". The cottages are situated in a rural setting beneath the spectacular Seaward Kaikoura mountain range. Dylan's cottage accommodation is only five minutes from central Kaikoura and 2.5 hours drive from Christchurch.

Accommodation Rates & Info

Our Tarriff is $175.00 New Zealand Dollars per night, (2 persons) including Breakfast. It is an additional $25 per night for an extra person. (this includes children)

Due to the popularity of our accommodation, we don't offer any discounts.

To be sure of being able to stay at Dylan's make a booking now; as we are often booked many months in advance.

Kowhai Cottage

Kowhai cottage rustic Cottage style accommodation surrounded by sweet smelling lavender!

Your own private, self contained cottage set amidst the extensive flower and display gardens of Lavendyl Farm.

Kowahai Cottage contains a Queen and a Single Bed (upstairs) and a Queen foldout settee in the lounge/dining area.

French Doors open from the lounge to the garden, bringing indoor/outdoor experience New Zealand is famous for.

Mahoe Cottage

Welcome to Mahoe Cottage, rural accommodation surrounded by sweet smelling lavender!

Your own private, self contained cottage set amoungst the wonderful flower and display gardens of Lavendyl Farm.

Mahoe Cottage adjoins a classic bush outdoor garden bathroom area of it's own. Of course you won't be able to resist wandering further around the extensive grounds as well.

The queen bedroom of Mahoe Cottage (upstairs) opens through French Doors on to its own private balcony. There is a foldout settee (double) downstairs in the lounge/dining area for extra guests or children.
